inspired by irritation

there is a photo blog i like to check out, which i will leave unnamed, that publishes a lot of photography that irritates the shit out of me. to be honest, i haven't spent enough time to consider why it bothers me so much to come up with a very intellectual response. from my brief reflections, i think it's that the artists seem to be trying too hard to be weird and artsy without having a point to the work.

maybe i just don't get it. probably.

i was bored and decided i try my hand at making some art in this style that bugs me. it was actually pretty fun to do! but, to be honest, the exercise did not inspire any more appreciation of this style.
