Chicago surf!

Greg and I made it safely to Chicago last Thursday in our 16' truck with all of our possessions packed inside. Our cat Charlie even did OK after the first day! That was a pleasant surprise.  An even more unexpected, pleasant surprise was that there were WAVES ON LAKE MICHIGAN THE DAY WE GOT THERE!!! Can you believe it? What a great omen.  We got to surf Whiting, IN after we unpacked the truck Friday morning.  It was freezing, small, and incredibly fun.

This morning we're taking off to Denver for a friend's wedding and a visit with my sister...then off to Sevilla on Tuesday. Finally!
