Mystical

One of our favorite places in Portugal was Sintra, especially the forest surrounding the Pena Palace and the Convent of the Capuchos.  It was really foggy and no one else was around, which made it feel really mystical and like we were the first people discovering the area or something.  Both the palace and the convent are worth seeing if you get the chance.
