Larry Sultan: 1946 - 2009

I'm so sad to hear that Larry Sultan passed away last night at only 63 years old.  What a terrible loss for the art world :(   We will always remember him for his incredible contributions to photography. 

His series, Pictures from Home is my personal favorite.  I like to make up stories in my mind about the photos, and I find his sense of composition and color is absolutely inspiring.

May he rest in peace.
